There is a new player in the world of AI image generation. Black Forest Labs, a startup created by former Stability AI developers, has unveiled its FLUX.1 family of models.

FLUX.1 debuted a couple of months after the release of Stable Diffusion 3 Medium, which, to put it mildly, did not impress users. Many complained about the strange images of people with distorted proportions, which caused a wave of ridicule on social media.
