The writers of the movie “Deadpool and Wolverine” shared an interesting detail about the casting. It turns out that the authors planned to invite Robert Downey Jr. for a cameo as Tony Stark. However, given that the actor has already been confirmed for the role of Dr. Doom in future installments of “The Avengers”, this idea had to be abandoned.

“We really wanted Downey to be in the business. But at the same time, Marvel had a trump card up its sleeve: he was about to return in a new character. And to have him play Tony Stark? Knowing that it would be followed by Dr. Doom? It just didn’t make sense,” one of the writers shared.

The star of “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, Cate Blanchett, revealed a surprising fact about her fee for the role of Galadriel. It turns out that the actress did not receive a monetary reward.

“I got free sandwiches and elf ears,” Blanchett shared on the “What Happens Live!” show. According to her, the main motivation for participating in the movie was her faith in director Peter Jackson and his talent, demonstrated in the horror film “The Living Dead.”

When asked which movie brought her the most income, Cate Blanchett replied with a smile that “The Lord of the Rings” is clearly not one of them. “Are you kidding me? No, almost no one got paid fat to be in that movie. I mostly got free sandwiches, and I was also allowed to pick up elf ears. Women don’t get paid as much as you think,” the actress noted.

For many Star Wars fans, Andor is one of the best, if not the best Disney+ series set in a galaxy far, far away, created by Lucasfilm. Stories.”

The events that directly precede the “Outcast One” movie will take four years and tell the story of the Rebels in a very different way, with each three episodes covering one year.

The future of the “Blade” movie starring Mahershala Ali is murky. Disney executive Bob Iger’s recent announcement of plans for 2025, which did not mention the project, has fueled rumors of a possible release delay.

Recall that earlier the film was scheduled for release on November 7, 2025. However, the constant changes in the creative team, including the departure of the second director, make it doubtful that these deadlines will be met.
