There will be a TV series based on “John Wick” – it’s a sequel to the fourth instalment

The showrunner for John Wick: Under The High Table is Robert Levine (Black Sails, The Old Man). Executive producer is Keanu Reeves, and the pilot episode will be directed by Chad Stahelski (“John Wick 2,” “John Wick 3,” “John Wick 4”). Reeves, who played Wick in all the films, will not star in the series.

Deadline also noted that a full-fledged fifth instalment of “John Wick” is in the works. In addition, the studio Lionsgate is preparing a spin-off “Ballerina” with Ana de Armas (“Blade Runner 2049”) and a series about the blind killer Cain, who in the fourth part played Donnie Yen (“Ip Man”).
