Ben Mendelsohn will return as Orson Krennic in the second season of “Andor”

Thanks to a preview of the second season at Disney’s D23 conference, it was revealed that Ben Mendelsohn will reprise his role as Admiral Orson Krennic. Also seen in the preview were Saw Herrera (Forest Whitaker), K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), and Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly).

At the moment it is not known when the second season of “Andor” will be released. But since the shooting of the series ended in February, and Tony Gilroy himself said that post-production will take about a year, we can cross our fingers and hope for a quick premiere in 2025.
