“Acolyte” is, to put it mildly, the worst Star Wars series that has aired on Disney+ since the streaming service launched in 2019. Perhaps it failed to spoil the story the way Obi-Wan Kenobi did: many feel that the main character shouldn’t have fought Darth Vader between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Not to mention how annoying the completely ridiculous script and cliched acting is when watching the series.

The new Star Wars series on Disney+ premiered on Disney+ in early June, and it was immediately met with a sharp rejection from fans. The huge gap between expectation and reality caused a huge sense of disappointment among viewers.
